Orders, Custom Work, Warranty & Returns
Orders & Payment
All pieces are made to order or built in limited runs.
Standard Products: Full payment is required at the time of purchase
Custom Projects: A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to begin work
The remaining balance is due prior to delivery or installation
Deposits secure your place in the build schedule and cover design time, materials, and initial fabrication.
Custom Work Policy
Each custom piece is built specifically for the client and cannot be resold.
For that reason:
Custom orders are non-returnable and non-refundable once production has begun
Any changes requested after approval of final design may result in additional cost and timeline adjustments
Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving all design details prior to build
If a project is canceled:
Deposits are non-refundable
Any additional costs incurred beyond the deposit (materials, labor completed) may be invoiced
Returns (Non-Custom Items)
For non-custom, standard products:
Returns may be accepted within 7 days of delivery
Items must be unused and in original condition
Return shipping and handling are the responsibility of the customer
Due to the nature of solid wood furniture, minor variation in grain and color is expected and not considered a defect.
Natural Material Disclaimer
Wood is a natural material and will continue to respond to its environment.
This means:
Grain, color, and figure will vary from piece to piece
Seasonal movement (expansion/contraction) is normal
Small checks, movement, or subtle changes over time are part of the material
These characteristics are not considered defects, but part of what makes each piece unique.

Hardware: Covered under manufacturer warranties where applicable
This warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear
Movement due to environmental conditions (humidity, temperature, sunlight)
Improper use, neglect, or modifications
Damage occurring after delivery or installation
If an issue arises, I will work with you to determine a reasonable repair or solution.
Delivery & Installation
Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary based on project scope and material availability
Clients are responsible for ensuring access and site readiness
Once delivered or installed, responsibility transfers to the client
A Note on Craftsmanship
Each piece is built by hand using solid hardwoods, with a focus on durability, repairability, and long-term performance.
These are not mass-produced items—they are made to be used, lived with, and to improve over time.
